You are the wonder that is the working mum during the school summer holiday.
I see you, balancing. Child in one hand, packed lunch in the other, pencil skirt and stiletto pumps give nothing away. You went to bed last and arose first. The bubbly child a testament to the standard; groomed, cleaned, fed. Your route has changed and the journey longer than the usual but this is worth it for the joy of the holidays. I see you, flawless and in your element. Not because you must but because you can. A model of stature and poise for the coming generation. I see you, face aglow and hair slicked back. To compete in kind is to meet the set standards. You raised it. Beyond this, a dream, a goal, an outcome much greater. Today, I see you working mum, working dad in the summer holiday.
