As a working parent I always look for ways to workout that doesn't get in the way of quality time with the little one or disturb actual work time. That's why I opted to do at home Tabata training. This literally consists of 8 reps of 20 second bursts of activity with only 10 seconds break in between. The four minute workout is said to be as effective as a 20 minute workout. Don't believe me? Have a go, I've been doing burpees. Twenty seconds has never felt so long!
In the past month I have joined the virtual Plank Challenge by Virtual gym, I'm up to 120 seconds or 2 minutes - epic (I am lion, hear me roar!). Challenged my new bezzies at Red bear sports but seems I caught them offguard! Looking forward to the new sports wear range out in February 2015. Watch this space!
